Dropped when the Special Snowflakes Anthology melted away, this weird tale/horror story is going to be picked up by NIGHTMARE ILLUSTRATED. Details to follow.

HEARTCORE / SNOWFLAKES ANTHOLOGY CANCELLED

WATCH THE BOUNCING BALL therefore will not be out as promised. Two publishers have backed off the charity anthology for undisclosed reasons. This is disappointing because all involved attempted to do good and have been denied. AND this is the fourth anthology for me to go down the tubes.

I have also noticed other anthologies struggling as well. The times they are tough and not changing; people are reading less and 'netflixing'  more. While I have confidence this tale will find a home, I am getting increasingly impatient with a genre that is homogenizing more and more in an effort to chase a public that really is only made up groupies in search of a fad.

I will trudge on like Pink Floyd in a world captivated by disco. In the long run I'll still be standing.

The Hearcore Project: The Special Snowflake Anthology

As you are aware WATCH THE BOUNCING BALL will be part of this project; a project that will benefit artists in need. The first two volumes of THE SPECIAL SNOWFLAKE ANTHOLOGY will be available from CHUPA CABRA HOUSE soon. Understand I am not getting one penny from this; neither is the publisher. I would ask everyone to buy both volumes which will be chock full of weird, whimsical, creepy and the horrific from both established and new writers. We have about eighty thousand words here so there is a lot to like and certainly something for everyone.

Both volumes will feature the artwork of Ogmios The Artist. Look him up, this cover is a killer.

This is a charity project hence my plea. We are helping two distinct writers in need here and I am honored to have been asked to contribute.

The main thanks though need to go to the founders of this project ALEX S. JOHNSON, PERSIPHONE HELLECAT also known as CHARIE  D. LA MARR and TIMM TAYSHUN.

Heartcore Anthology Preliminary Table of Contents Out

In what appears to be a huge volume for the first anthology "Watch The Bouncing Ball" is sitting in 26th position on the table of contents. We are happy to be a part of this charity anthology and humbled to be with the other writers in this venture.

The volume is expected to be published in February and details will follow.

Details to follow but Heartcore's premiere anthology will include this horror story. Heartcore was created by writers in California for writers in need. Once the press release is released there will be more info. I don't want to let out too much until they publicly unveil their project. I thank Heartcore for the invite to submit and I hope good things are accomplished by this and future anthologies.
